How to reduce pellet consumption and lower heating costs?

The price of pellets, although stable, is still higher than a few years ago. Therefore, pellet as a stable and available fuel is still a convincing source of heating a home or business, but you have to remember that there are much cheaper fuels that can also be burned fully automatically and they will be much cheaper than sawdust pellets.

There are quite a lot of pellet substitutes and alternatives on the biomass market

There are quite a lot of such pellet substitutes:

- agricultural pellets

- briquettes

- wood chips

- scobs

- seeds, biofuels

For example, the price of a good agropellet with an admixture of sunflower is 300-400 euro / tonne, which is much cheaper than sawdust pellets. Especially for heating large buildings, i.e. schools, hotels, office buildings or even multi-family blocks, it is worth comparing the purchase prices of sawdust pellets and its substitutes. This can bring measurable reductions in annual heating costs by up to 70%.

We must invest in the right heating device

However, in order to be able to save and reduce heating costs, we must invest in the right heating device. Our company has been producing professional premium biomass heating boilers for years. Their innovation consists primarily in the use of special burners to burn inferior types of fuel. Reinforced feeder gears and drives also enable precise feeding of unsorted biomass. In the Biowarmer series, we can burn fuels of variable granulation and volume thanks to specially wound screw feeders. Therefore, you can feed, for example: wood chips up to 8 cm long, uncalibrated. Fuel calibration is of great importance in the case of many competitive central heating boilers because they have small diameters of feeders, which strongly limits the ability to transport biomass. Moving grate: the boiler is equipped with an innovative step grate burner, which enables effective combustion of wood chips. In addition, the movement of the grates causes self-cleaning of the ash from the burner. This burner was awarded in the government program "GREENEVO Accelerator of green technologies"

Split feeder: For even greater efficiency and optimal combustion, the Biowarmer 3 boiler has a chip feeder that is divided into two sections. This unique system minimizes the risk of flashback, which translates into safety and stability of the boiler operation.

Automatic operation: Our boiler offers the possibility of operating in automatic mode. The Rk 2006LPG graphic controller installed on the boiler enables precise control of the combustion process.

Firing up and extinguishing in the boiler: the boiler is equipped with 2 ceramic igniters that enable the fuel to be ignited automatically. After firing up, the boiler switches to automatic operation. This process is managed by the controller by reading the flue gas temperature sensor. After exceeding the set temperature in the absence of heat demand, the boiler starts the extinguishing process. After the fuel burns out completely, the device goes into standby mode and restarts when the demand for heat returns and the temperature in the boiler drops.

Graphic controller Rk 2006LPG: This advanced controller is the heart of the Biowarmer 350kW boiler. Thanks to the intuitive user interface, you can monitor and control the boiler operating parameters, such as temperature, fuel doses or fan speed. Rk 2006LPG allows for optimal adjustment of the boiler operation to changing conditions, ensuring efficiency and energy savings.

 Burner power modulation reduces fuel consumption: Our Biowarmerna woodchip boiler is equipped with burner power modulation, which means that the burner power automatically adjusts to the current heating needs. Thanks to this, optimal combustion and use of available energy is achieved, which translates into lower operating costs.

Internet module: The boiler can be equipped with an optional Internet module that allows you to view operating parameters via the Internet (application or browser) and, if necessary, can send a notification of an error or failure.
